

Application Launch
Q: When I launch Quick Buddy, the Sign On screen does not fully display, so I cannot type my Screen Name and password.
A: There are several things you should try, in the following order:
Reload the page several times.
Empty your browser's cache (Advanced preferences in Netscape, General preferences in MSIE) and then restart the browser.
Try connecting to your ISP using a different access number, or try back at a different time (the problem may very well be due to network congestion).

Connection
Q: When I try to sign on, I get an error message that my username or password is incorrect. However, I am sure that I am typing them correctly, and I have even had my password mailed to me.
A: The reason for your connection problem is almost certainly due to your computer being located behind a firewall or proxy server on your network (this is usually the case in offices and schools). Currently, there is no workaround with Quick Buddy, even though the regular NIM software (which you can download here) is likely to work.
