A: Access the Chat Directory /nim/chat/
on AOL.CA. These are public rooms, different from Buddy Chat rooms because they do not have the 23-person limit.
(When the public room fills up, an identical room opens for the next group of chatters.)

Q: How can I use NIM to chat with AOL buddies?
A: Right now, AOL chat rooms are only accessible by AOL members. However, AOL members
can join NIM chat rooms if they have NIM running on their computer.

A: Occasionally, our host system has a problem initializing chat rooms. Try entering a chat room again later.
